- 3 cups warm water( 110 degrees)
- 2packages active dry yeast
- 1/3 cup honey
- 5 cups bread flour
- 3 tablespoons melted butter

- 2 tablespoon sugar
- Food colour
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, put warm water and add all the solutes that can
dissolve in it. These can include yeast, honey and salt. Add five cups
of white bread flour and stir well until they combine
proportionally. Leave the kneaded dough by itself for about thirty
minutes so that the yeast can be active. The moment the dough becomes
big and bubbly, that is when it is ready.
2. Mix in three tablespoon melted butter, 1/3 cup of honey and
salt. Add two cups of whole wheat flour. Knead the dough with white
flour until it stops sticking on your hands. Let the dough not to be
really dry. It should stick a little on your fingers but not on the
counter. If need be, add more cups of whole wheat flour. Place in a
greased bowl then turn it so that the whole surface of the dough can
get coated with oil. Cover the bowl with a clean dish towel. Leave the
dough to rise slowly until it becomes twice of its initial size.
3. Punch the dough to release pressure in it. Then divide it into
three parts. Place the dough in a greased 9 by 5 inch loaf pans. Let
the dough to rise about one inch above the pan.
4. Cook at 175 degrees Celsius for roughly half an hour. Do not
overbake. Smear some butter or margarine after you are done cooking to
prevent the crust from becoming so hard. Let the bread cool. You can
wrap it in a paper that would allow it to cool slowly and not get
